This policy applies to H61 Apps software and related websites. Privacy practices may differ based on an app’s functionality and distribution method.

App Store Apps

This section applies to H61 Apps software distributed through Apple’s App Store platforms, including macOS, iOS, and other supported Apple platforms.

H61 Apps utilities distributed through Apple’s App Store generally process user-selected files locally on the user’s device.

Files and generated output are not uploaded to H61 Apps.

These apps do not require user accounts.

These apps do not use advertising.

These apps do not track users across apps or websites.

App Store apps that use analytics or telemetry will disclose that behavior in the app, its App Store listing, or this policy.

App preferences and security-scoped authorization bookmarks may be stored locally.

Optional diagnostic logs may be stored locally. Diagnostic logs may include local file paths, processing status, and technical error details. Diagnostic logs are not transmitted automatically.

Bundled tools, such as FFmpeg or FFprobe, may run locally to perform app functions.

Apps may open website, support, privacy, or third-party links in the user’s browser. Opening an external link is governed by the destination service’s privacy practices.

App Store privacy disclosures are completed separately for each app based on that app’s actual behavior.

Any material differences will be disclosed through the app, its App Store listing, or an update to this policy.

Apps Distributed Outside the Mac App Store

Some directly distributed apps may access the internet when required for their stated function.

Some apps may retrieve user-requested media, metadata, or other content from third-party services.

Some apps may check for software updates using an update framework such as Sparkle.

Update checks may contact H61 Apps infrastructure, GitHub, or another configured update host.

Third-party services contacted at the user’s request are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Network access required for an app’s core function does not necessarily mean H61 Apps collects the content or activity.

H61 Apps does not sell personal information.

H61 Apps does not use personal information for third-party advertising.

H61 Apps does not track users across unrelated apps or websites for advertising.

Any app that materially collects, transmits, stores, or shares user data beyond these general practices will disclose that behavior in the app, its distribution page, or an updated privacy policy.

App-Specific Privacy Practices

The following sections describe privacy practices for specific H61 Apps software. Where an app-specific section differs from the general policy, the app-specific section controls for that app.

Audio Spectrogram Analyzer

This section applies to the shipped macOS and iOS versions of Audio Spectrogram Analyzer. The app processes selected audio and video files locally on the user’s device. Audio data is not transmitted for remote processing.

• On macOS, the app accesses media through Open, drag-and-drop, or other user-selected file access. On iOS, the app accesses media through the system file picker or document provider. The app does not scan the user’s library or storage automatically.
• Media files are not uploaded to H61 Apps servers.
• Audio analysis and spectrogram generation occur locally on-device. Temporary decoded data exists only during analysis and is discarded when it is no longer needed.
• Spectrogram images are created only when the user initiates export. Export destinations are selected by the user (or a user-configured local folder preference). Exported files are not uploaded.
• Activity Logs and other diagnostic exports are generated locally. They leave the device only if the user explicitly exports or shares them. H61 Apps does not automatically receive diagnostic logs.
• On iOS only, when a user chooses Save to Photos, the app requests permission only to add the exported image and does not read the Photos library. The macOS app does not request Photos access.
• The app does not use analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers, or accounts, and does not collect personal information for H61 Apps’ own purposes. It does not request microphone, camera, or Music library access for spectrogram analysis.
• The app includes third-party software components, including local FFmpeg components where applicable. Applicable licenses and notices are provided in-app (Help on Mac; Settings on iPhone) or in related notices. Corresponding FFmpeg 8.1.2 source is published at h61apps.com/open-source/audio-spectrogram-analyzer/ffmpeg/8.1.2 .

Audio Capture

This section applies to the macOS version of Audio Capture. The app records system audio or audio from one user-selected application locally on the Mac and writes the recording to a user-selected folder.

• Audio Capture does not record from the microphone and does not use a virtual audio driver for capture.
• Recording and file output remain on your Mac. Captured audio is not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• Capture does not require a network connection for recording.
• Preferences and Activity Log contents remain on the Mac unless you explicitly export or share them. Activity Log exports may include local paths and capture status messages.

Artwork Extractor

This section applies to Artwork Extractor 1.0.0 for macOS, distributed as a Developer ID download from H61 Apps. The app processes user-selected media files locally on the Mac. Embedded artwork extraction and optional image conversion run on the device.

• Media files and extracted artwork are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• Network access is used only for Sparkle software updates. Sparkle may contact h61apps.com for the update feed and downloads.h61apps.com for update archives. Automatic update checks are off by default. Website, Privacy, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions (browser or email).
• Preferences, authorized folder bookmarks, and optional Activity Log exports remain on the Mac unless the user explicitly shares them. Diagnostic logs may include local file paths and processing status.
• Bundled FFmpeg and FFprobe helpers run locally and are built without network support for this product.

Website analytics described later in this policy apply to visits to h61apps.com, not to in-app Artwork Extractor behavior.

Image Resizer

This section applies to Image Resizer 1.0.0 for macOS, distributed as a Developer ID download from H61 Apps. The app processes user-selected images locally on the Mac. Resize and format conversion run on the device.

• Images are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• Network access is used only for Sparkle software updates. Sparkle may contact h61apps.com for the update feed and downloads.h61apps.com for update archives. Automatic update checks are off by default. Website, Privacy, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions (browser or email).
• Preferences, authorized folder bookmarks, and optional Activity Log exports remain on the Mac unless the user explicitly shares them. Diagnostic logs may include local file paths and processing status.
• Bundled libwebp runs locally inside the sandboxed app.

Copy as Path

This section applies to the macOS version of Copy as Path. The app processes paths for files and folders you explicitly select in Finder and formats them locally on your Mac.

• Copy as Path does not read the contents of selected files. It works with the paths of items you select in Finder.
• The resulting formatted path text is written to the system clipboard on your Mac. Selected paths, clipboard contents, and preference data are not transmitted to or collected by H61 Apps.
• The Wrap paths in double quotes preference is stored locally on your Mac.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• Website, Privacy, and Support destinations open only when you choose those Help menu actions (browser or email).

Website analytics described later in this policy apply to visits to h61apps.com, not to in-app Copy as Path behavior.

Media Demuxer

This section applies to the macOS version of Media Demuxer. The app processes one user-selected media file at a time locally on the Mac. Stream inspection and extraction run on the device.

• Source media and extracted outputs are not uploaded to H61 Apps. Outputs remain in the user-selected or local destination folder.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• The Mac app has no network entitlement for product features. Website, Privacy, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions (browser or email).
• Preferences, security-scoped folder bookmarks, and optional diagnostic logs remain on the Mac unless the user explicitly shares them. Diagnostic logs may include local file paths and processing status.
• Bundled FFmpeg and FFprobe helpers run locally and are built without network support for this product.

Website analytics described later in this policy apply to visits to h61apps.com, not to in-app Media Demuxer behavior.

Music Audit

This section applies to the macOS version of Music Audit. The app audits user-selected music files or folders locally on the Mac. It does not edit tags, lyrics, artwork, or other media content.

• Scanning and classification run on-device. Music files and derived audit results are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• The Mac app has no network entitlement for product features. Website, Privacy, Help, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions (system browser). Music Audit does not perform runtime network requests for scanning or updates.
• Preferences and security-scoped source-folder bookmarks may be stored locally in the app’s Application Support directory when you choose to remember a folder. Bookmark blobs are not written to Activity Logs.
• Optional Activity Logs and on-disk logs may be stored locally. Logs may include local file paths, processing status, and technical error details. Logs are not transmitted automatically. They leave the Mac only if the user exports or shares them.
• CSV and TXT exports are written only to destinations the user chooses through the save panel. Exports are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• Bundled MediaInfoLib runs locally inside the app for technical metadata enrichment. FFmpeg, ffprobe, ExifTool, and Perl are not bundled with Music Audit for macOS. Applicable licenses and notices are available in-app under Help → Third-party Notices.

Metadata Inspector

This section applies to Metadata Inspector for macOS distributed through the Mac App Store (and equivalent H61 Apps builds of the same product). The app inspects user-selected files locally on the Mac.

• Descriptive and technical metadata are read locally using bundled tools (ExifTool, FFprobe, and FFmpeg for local preview frames). Source files are inspected read-only and are not modified by the app.
• Media files, extracted metadata, Activity Logs, and device identifiers are not uploaded to or collected by H61 Apps through Metadata Inspector.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• The Mac app has no network entitlement for product features. Website, Help, Privacy Policy, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions (browser or email).
• Preferences and security-scoped bookmarks for folders you authorize (including external volumes or network shares) may be stored locally in the app’s Application Support directory.
• Optional diagnostic Activity Logs may be stored locally. Logs may include local file paths, processing status, and technical error details. Logs are not transmitted automatically. They leave the Mac only if the user exports or shares them.
• Exported metadata (TXT, JSON, CSV, and batch exports) is written only to destinations the user chooses through save or folder panels. Exports are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• When a file contains GPS coordinates in its metadata, the Map tab may show a preview using Apple MapKit. The app does not request access to the Mac’s live location solely to display embedded GPS from a file. When map previews are shown, Apple’s map services may be used under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. H61 Apps does not receive Apple Maps data from that display.
• Bundled ExifTool, FFmpeg, and FFprobe run locally. Applicable licenses and notices are available in-app under Help → Third-party Notices, and on h61apps.com open-source pages for this product.

Resolution Audit

This section applies to the macOS version of Resolution Audit. The app scans user-selected video files or folders locally on the Mac and classifies resolutions using a bundled FFprobe helper.

• Source media is not uploaded to H61 Apps. Scanning and classification run on-device.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• The Mac app has no network entitlement for product features. Website, Privacy, Help, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions (system browser).
• Source file access is session-only for paths the user selects. Resolution Audit does not persist security-scoped source bookmarks across launches.
• Preferences and optional Activity Log / on-disk logs remain on the Mac unless the user explicitly exports or shares them. Diagnostic logs may include local file paths and processing status.
• CSV and Activity Log exports are written only to destinations the user chooses. Exports are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• Bundled FFprobe runs locally (built from FFmpeg 8.1.2 source with GPL/nonfree disabled and network support disabled in configure). License text and source information ship in-app under Help → Third-party Notices. Corresponding source is published at h61apps.com/open-source/resolution-audit/ffmpeg/8.1.2 .
• If you contact H61 Apps at contact@h61apps.com or through the website contact form, information you voluntarily include is received for support and is not processed solely on your Mac.

Subtitle Extractor

This section applies to the macOS version of Subtitle Extractor. The app processes user-selected video files locally on the Mac. Subtitle detection and extraction run on the device. See also the Subtitle Extractor privacy page .

• Video files and extracted subtitle files are not uploaded to H61 Apps.
• The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking.
• Normal extraction does not require network access. Website, Privacy, and Support destinations open only when the user chooses those Help menu actions.
• Preferences, authorized folder bookmarks, and optional Activity Log exports remain on the Mac unless the user explicitly shares them. Diagnostic logs may include local file paths and processing status.
• Bundled FFmpeg and FFprobe helpers run locally to detect and extract subtitle streams.

Website analytics described later in this policy apply to visits to h61apps.com, not to in-app Subtitle Extractor behavior.

yt-dlp GUI

This section applies to the macOS version of yt-dlp GUI. The app uses the network only as needed for user-requested media analysis, download, capture, and update functions.

• H61 Apps does not collect URLs, media, cookies, Activity Logs, analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or device identifiers through the app.
• When the user analyzes, downloads, or captures media, bundled tools communicate with the requested third-party service and related hosts as necessary. Optional cookies remain on the Mac and are supplied to yt-dlp for the relevant requests.
• App update checks may contact h61apps.com; automatic checks are off by default. A user-initiated yt-dlp update may contact GitHub release infrastructure. Activity Logs remain local unless the user exports or shares them.

Local Diagnostic Logs

Some apps may create local diagnostic logs.

Logs may include file paths, status messages, app and tool versions, and technical errors.

Logs remain on the device unless the user manually shares them.

H61 Apps does not receive logs automatically.

Where supported, users may disable logging or clear logs from within the app.

Uninstalling an app may not always remove every local support file automatically, depending on macOS behavior.

Website Analytics

The H61 Apps website uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. Google Analytics collects and processes information about visits and interactions with the website in accordance with Google’s privacy practices.

Third-Party Tools and Services

Some apps bundle open-source tools that run locally.

Some apps may open or communicate with third-party services only when required for their stated functionality or when the user requests it.

Third-party websites, stores, hosting providers, media services, GitHub, Apple, Microsoft, and payment providers have their own privacy policies.

H61 Apps is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of those services.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local preferences, bookmarks, logs, caches, and generated output remain on the user’s device or selected storage.

Users can remove generated output and logs manually.

Users can generally remove app-local data by deleting the app’s support files or uninstalling the app, subject to operating-system behavior.

H61 Apps cannot delete information held by third-party services on the user’s behalf.

Children’s Privacy

H61 Apps software is intended as general-purpose utility software.

H61 Apps does not knowingly design its apps to collect personal information from children.

Any app with materially different practices would disclose them separately.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when apps, distribution methods, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.

The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
