Corresponding source for Metadata Inspector

Metadata Inspector is proprietary H61 Apps software. It is not an FFmpeg product and the app source is not offered under the LGPL. The macOS app bundles FFmpeg and FFprobe helpers that run locally to probe media and extract preview frames from user-selected files.

The bundled FFmpeg components are distributed under LGPL v2.1 or later for this build. GPL and nonfree components are disabled. See FFmpeg legal information and the GNU LGPL 2.1 .

Build information

Helpers are separate arm64 executables installed at Contents/Helpers/{ffmpeg,ffprobe} . They are not linked into the application binary. Codesigning for distribution changes Mach-O hashes; the unsigned checksums above match the reproducible build outputs recorded in the Metadata Inspector repository.
