=== VobSub muxer patch (bundled build) ===

The bundled FFmpeg build includes an additional source file not present in the
upstream FFmpeg 8.1.2 release tarball:

  Patch directory: tools/ffmpeg-patches/vobsub-muxer/
  Primary file:    vobsubenc.c
  Apply script:    apply-vobsub-muxer-patch.sh

Purpose:
  Upstream FFmpeg provides a VobSub demuxer but no VobSub muxer. Subtitle
  Extractor applies this LGPL-licensed patch before configure so bundled FFmpeg
  can write lossless VobSub output (.idx index + .sub MPEG-2 PS companion)
  when extracting dvd_subtitle streams.

  vobsubenc.c is part of FFmpeg and is licensed under the GNU Lesser General
  Public License, version 2.1 or later (LGPL-2.1-or-later). See FFmpeg-LICENSE.txt
  and LGPL-2.1.txt in this folder.
